Often described as a way of democratizing philanthropy, Giving Circles are changing the face ofcommunity philanthropy across the U.S.  New research reveals the following impact of this philanthropicforce:

  • 1 in 8 donors has participated in a Giving Club
  • Over the last 10 years, the number of Giving Circles has tripled to more than 1,000
  • 150,000 Giving Club members have been engagedGiving Circles have given $1.29 billion

Please join AFP senior executives and local Giving Circle members as we explore the exponential growthand impact of Giving Circles on donor giving and civic engagement. In this facilitated session, Anchorage Giving Circle members will share their unique perspectives as we explore:
