September Lunch & Learn
Take a Tropical Dive into Gift Planning
September 20, 2017
11:30 am- 1 pm
BP Energy Center
Moderated by Harry W. Need, MPA, CFRE, Senior Director of Philanthropic Services at the UA Foundation.
Development is a team sport, especially when it comes to charitable estate planning. As fundraisers, we sit on a deep bench of professional advisors that look after our donor's legal, tax, income and legacy concerns. Join us for a gift planning luncheon where we can dive into this experience.
We’ll look at a brief case study of Phil N. Tropic, his family and business, and discuss his considerations from multiple perspectives with local expert professionals from the legal, tax, financial and development sectors.
The case study will be made available to all registrants before the luncheon.
AFP Alaska thanks you for registering for this month's Lunch and Learn. As a matter of policy, AFP Alaska is unable to refund registrations less than 48 hours before the scheduled Lunch and Learn. Your registration amount will be utilized to further our mission to set the standard of excellence in fundraising and philanthropy statewide, through the practice of effective and ethical professional fundraising. We do this through professional development, promoting credentialing, networking, mentoring, advocacy and recognition.
